Gaz_1989 9,539
I know this is going to start a massive debate here, but im wondering who everyone thinks we as hunters should be voting for this year? Im assuming we all want to get rid of the labour party? Just wondering who is likely to be on our side and get the hunting ban over turned? Thanks Gaz

Thanks Gaz On a more serious note, I do indeed want to see the Labour Party ousted and destroyed. However, I dont think that Hunting will be returned, neither straight away or within the first Parliament, this is due to the Conservatives being the only likely party to replace Labour, this party said it would repeal the Hunting Act when it was elected in its 2005 manifesto, that has now changed to a free vote, if they have a large majority and enough Tory MP's 'Toe the party line' then it may well get through and be repealed, but there are always high tensions over Hunting and this may lead to a back bench revolt, we would need a lot of the traditional Tories to be elected if this Act were to be repealed. Also laws are very rarely repealed these days. Even so, I will be voting Blue and not Red, certainly not yellow or green. ss06 p.s the general election is next year, I have local elections here in Wales on the 1st May.
