lurcher rescue dogs

hi everyone,just been reading plummer chases thread..ditch shitter advised him to maybe go to a rescue center..just wondered if anyone hadgot any good dogs from rescue,,i pesonally would wonder why they had been abandoned to start with,interested in your opinions,cheers kev....

Sometimes they get dumped for no reason other than whoever had it couldn't be arsed with them anymore. Or they've gotten lost with no identification, or left behind when the cops have turned up. I've seen some blinding dogs go through rescue, makes you wonder why folks would put so much time and effort into them and then let them go. Young dogs or older, if you know dogs you can pretty much get a feel for weather a dog will be what you're looking for; put in a bit of effort you'll often get it back 10 fold. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have a nosey round, see what's out there.

hi jenny,thanks for pm,not looking for a dog at the moment but my mates lurcher is knocking on so i think he may be interested in the near future so any advise would be useful...thanks..kev

so many in rescues due to not giving dog time expecting topclass dog dont wanna feed over the so called closed season loads reasons basically they are people who shouldnt get a dog in first instance.
