Guest smashygadge Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 well yes this is it im not going to run upto the quarry my dog is young and i run him down the beam on every run sitting or not so for somone saying im in the wrong as out of season well tough it got lamped as tho it was a rabbit my landowners ask me to keep down and i was proud off the dogs run he turned it twice and just spoke to a guy he said the dog must be ok as most are lucky to turn it once so suits me Quote Link to post

Guest smashygadge Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 should give the big bunnys a rest this time of year.... unless its purely for control i do take on a lot of control its the first big rabbit the dog ran.and second time on the land so not knowing bigger ones on the land,he was slipped down beam as any other time.iam not running upto every tight rabbit at 50yds i have alot of ground to cover and the dogs their to do its job.so if he is running it by mistake i most certainly wont turn that lamp off until i no he has caught his quarry or lost it as he did.what do you expect me to do turn lamp off and let the dog run into danger.and wow he has run 1 end of season what a deal Quote Link to post
