comanche 3,308
Apologies if this has been posted before .Several times I've had to tweak the terminals in my Mk111 collars to obtain a reliable contact.Rather than bending them about too much and risking a breakage I've settled on the following method. Cut two tiny pieces from an elastic band .The sort favoured by postmen for bundling letters seem about the right dimensions. Gently ease the pieces under the terminals with tweezers or the point of a knife. The rubber acts as a sprung cushion .Thus increasing battery contact without the risk of over- stressing the terminals. Trust me to think of this at the end of the season . Quote Link to post
