I've never used one but have heard the same. The ammo can be difficult to get hold of in places though!

I had a HW77 in .20 calibre years ago and it was the best air rifle i ever owned.They really do hit hard and fly flat.I killed 1000s of rabbits with that rifle over the five years or so i had it

I,ve had a sheridan , and an original 45 in .20, when i was younger. All i can say, is they do all they say they can, i cannot for the life of me understand why its never taken off in a big way? ammo is difficult, they have stopped doing accupel in .20, presumably cos they werent selling enough, but you really do have the best of both worlds, and i would have another at the drop of a hat, providing i could get pellets for it.
