celticwar 1 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 help please ive been shooting in the past on a farm and i read recently that theres a min yards to a road that you can shoot .????? now the feild runs down the side of the a1 and the farmer has took me shooting on his land with shot guns . but are we doing wrong . are we allowed to shoot that close to a road ????????????????? please help Quote Link to post

Highways It is an offence to fire any weapon within 50 feet of the centre of any roadway, if by doing so you cause a nuisance. This offence could be committed by someone on private property close to a road who used a gun in a way which upset people on the road. Protection of Birds Quote Link to post
