help with rules on law using my air rifle

help please ive been shooting in the past on a farm and i read recently that theres a min yards to a road that you can shoot .?????

now the feild runs down the side of the a1 and the farmer has took me shooting on his land with shot guns . but are we doing wrong . are we allowed to shoot that close to a road ?????????????????

50 ft mate, I would of thought there was a sticky but no.....

It is an offence to fire any weapon within 50 feet of the centre of any roadway, if by doing so you cause a nuisance. This offence could be committed by someone on private property close to a road who used a gun in a way which upset people on the road.

and yet were aloud to shoot in our gardens ect ..

and the farmer has a commity that shoot the land 3 times a year with shot guns .

sounds .like its up to the fire arms officer in my area ...
