Guest wickedandlazee
Hi there new to this - have had experience with airguns and crossbows etc in the past. Am looking to buy a shotgun for roughshooting type of use. Nothing too expensive as i am on a budget of maximum 500 notes. Any advice as to what makes/models would best fit the bill? thanks Quote Link to post
BLACKBOB 9
I have two shotguns for rough shooting it jusrt depends on the quarry I use a browning 525 o/u on most things If i was having a day on flushing foxes or on the lamp i use a berretta extrema auto which will take a 3.5" cartridge and will comfortably take down a fox at 75yrds. I know they are about 800 pounds new but its some gun. There are other cheaper 3.5" autos available for your price range my mate has one i think its a bikel and he swares by it. I just have a preffrence for berreta. Quote Link to post

mark.a 0
Ive had a lanber sporter for 4 years and can recommened it. I have just worked it out and its fired between 9 to 10 thousand cartridges in that time and it still looks in great condition. The bores are almost mint and theres no real sign of wear, and ive had no trouble with it at all. Totally recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to post
