whin 463 Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 very wrong if your dog cant get to it he cant catch it , but on some land slow dogs catch game, and stay sound all the year round but localy they would be hard pressed as its all arable land fast rabbs and hares etc roe when it was legal , saw ken smiths pionters and some of there progency nice type of dog for him as he was and probaly is a hill keeper , but all in all they were no better than some of the better collie crosses ive seen for working hard ground some of the beardie crooses ive saw were hardy dogs and pacy good coats etc , what i like about some of the dog pups they were big and rangy for going over the land rough heatther etc , and had great biting power kens dogs were powerfull but dont no what there bottle was like , ran with one and he was alrite a nice pup etc the guy was abit of a dog dealer but his lurcher was not bad etc Quote Link to post
