Guest JohnGalway Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 It is now illegal to use alphachloralose on meat baits to poison magpies and hoodies in the Republic of Ireland. This came in when a derogation to kill certain pest species was signed January 2008 by a Green minister here. This belongs in the shooting section too, as a lot of members here would be engaged in culling hoodies and magpies by various methods. All the best, John. Quote Link to post
