Guest Ditch_Shitter
Been messing with what ye shouldn't have touched, haven't ye? Played with ye settings and lost all ye Cookies. That'll teach ye. Not sure if running that System Restore till a week ago will sort ye out? If not, find out how to set ye Browser to Accept Cookies and re log in the once to everywhere, then leave well alone what ye don't understand in future.

IanB 0
Try deleting your cookies and maybe changing your internet settings to a lower security level.................. failing that download and use mozilla firefox instead
Guest Ditch_Shitter
how do the browser things ditch?ile try it Tricky, for me, mate as I'm running FireFox myself. I barely remember how Internet Explorer goes. But I've just opened IE for a look and it appears, at a glance, to accept all Cookies by default? Do ye understand what a Cookie is? Basicly - in this instance - it's a little chip that remembers ye name. So, when ye come to a door ye've visited before, the system there sees ye and knows ye from last time and lets ye in again. So, if ye ever touch a button saying " Delete All Cookies ", ye'll spend half the night trying to remember all those Passwords. It's the Cookie that retains the Password in ye PC's memory for ye. Saves you repeating it afresh each time. Trouble is, I can't figure out off hand why your new machine appears to be rejecting or deleting Cookies as ye go along. Someone here's bound to know. But I don't. I'd agree with Ian; Get Mozilla Fire Fox. But, if ye don't understand Cookies, chances are ye'll f*ck yeself up even further trying to change Browsers. Not meant as a slight either. I've had PC's for years now and only recently managed to even Dare try going over to Mozilla. Never looked back! Haven't ye got a Tekky type mate close by? Or a school kid? Most kids today have a far more fluent understanding of these machines than we do. It's all they've ever known. But either of those should be able to sit at ye keyboard and sort it out in a few clicks.
