Guest craftycarper
Got me first rat in the fenn today next to me chickens. They have been a right pain in the arse for the last few weeks tunneling into the pen and basically making a right old mess. Tried snaring which caught me one, but it's a bit restricted with to many obstacles and snags to set them properly so it was time for a couple of fenns. Yesterday found a tunnel under the coop, so i placed a baited one in there then followed it back to outside the coop where i found a T junction under some paving stone that leads under me shed foundation, set the next one there at the junction baited with some jam/peanut butter put through a blender and a sprinkle of layers pellets on and around the trap. Checked it this morning and found this little chappie having a permanent snooze..... http:// Quote Link to post

Guest craftycarper
have reset them this afternoon and see how it goes activity wise but i think they are under the shed foundations as there is a hole either side of them. If i don't get much joy with the traps then it will be a smoking job with the beddy's on watch, that will give them a little exercise.... Quote Link to post
