lorelei0922 2
Hi, I have a question for those of you that use a locator. Do you put it ON the hunting ferret? Or do you put it on a secondary ferret only used to locate a lay up ? If so, how do you know the second ferret is going to go find the first and not spend its time scouting along on its own ? thanks for answering Quote Link to post

richie 1
if i use four ferrets, they will all have one on them. ferrets can go in different ways from each other, especially when you work a large set that could be a hedge row with joining tunnels.. personally i would never enter one of my ferrets down without a collar on, others will say different. I'm with Richie, I only put ferrets to ground with collars. This can prove expensive but if you care about your ferrets it's worth it. I'm up to 5 mk3 collars now, and more required when funds allow.
