going crazy

Recommended Posts

for the past 10 days the ground has been to try and frozen to run the dogs on, this is the time of year is when a dog needs runs before the hare picks up another gear .

the forcast is even getting worse for the next 7 days so it back to walking and biking them but you really need the runs to keep them sharp, one of my dogs [jake]has just come back from a bad injury when he was spiked by a steel pin which hold the electric fences in the ground, he had about 8 runs in a week before the weather messed trhings up and was getting really sharp taking most of which he ran, but only having 8 runs in 6 weeks isnt good enough , the dogs will be fresh but when they do finally get the chance to run but the hare will be 10 yards faster [esp after a frost] , this could be bad news especially for a first season dog.
