T78 4
just been given a little albino jill by a mate of a mate. nice looking tiny little thing but hyperactive!! it came with a hutch, when i opened it,i ended up with a ferret in the face!!it was that quick!lol . cleaned it out and went to pick it up when it promptly bit me!! little it didnt bite hard though,i think it was my fault for startling it as i dont think its been bothered with for a while. left it for the night now with plenty of grub and a clean hutch. will try again tommorow when its hopefully a litte calmer!hope its not a biter as its a bonny little thing and from what ive seen of its speed, could be a good worker! heres the little terror....lol Edited February 15, 2008 by pitindall1978 Quote Link to post

jultaylor1972 2
I put my finger through the mesh to stroke my mates ferrets and one of them bit me by the time they were rabbiting a few days later I was handling them all fine and got no more bites. Quote Link to post
T78 4
she released straight away on her own.,no malice in her!lol. although she has just nipped my mate too!! Quote Link to post
Guest Bigbob
You want to change that chicken wire for a good grade weld mesh though the ferret bites that in the same place a couple of times it will rust and break and your ferret will get out Quote Link to post
