Because if you mean training him with sheep as you said I dont think he would be able to retreve a whole one . But if you want to break him to live stock take him out as soon as he has had his jabs, it is good to get him used to live stock as soon as possible. Guest manda Posted February 14, 2008 Report Share Posted February 14, 2008 as young as poss my lil terrier pup is getting introduced to everything and he's going to get all the proper training, he's a bit nervous of geese he runs a mile then hides and i have to go get him lol my pup is doing quite well even off the lead when we not near roads and stays by my side, he's 12 weeks and its been his 1st couple of days out. good luck with him im sure you will do fine Quote Link to post Share on other sites
