Moochersways 767 Posted Monday at 16:28 Report Share Posted Monday at 16:28 Finished work early today so had a quick couple hours out with the ferrets and lurcher on a local permission.....beauty of a day nice to see blue skies and sunshine for a change! 3 small Warren's the dog marked for 4 nice rabbits......one more trip out then I'm hanging the nets up until September the dog and ferrets can enjoy there rest up they've done well for me this season 9 Quote Link to post

Yeah its great to have some dry weather but the young are going to force our hand to having to hang up the nets till next season. Cheers Arry Certain permissions I've not had or seen any young yet but others I have seen some running about.....hopefully all goes well saturday and none dug to but I don't think I'll get another day in after that....shame as I have a new farm that the landowners keen for me to have a go on hope you get to get your mate out for the day and fingers crossed it's not a spade day Quote Link to post

The season is so short these days. We only had three but we were back at mine by 12.30. You know that does me these days, plus it got real warm by midday. My ferrets won't stop on a dead young ones so its not too bad. We done 100 yds of road hedge today but about 50 yds of that was one burrow. I didn't want to use two ferret as if two get hold its all over. They gave the ferret the real run around but by Christ was she traveling. Really enjoyable morning. Cheers Arry 1 Quote Link to post
