philpot 5,081 Posted June 28 Report Share Posted June 28 I have an old hw77 as a project to renovate which is not my thing but anyway, I am having a go (Jimmy keep your phone line clear ). There is a part which fits in both the 77 and 97 at the front of the trigger guard to connect the stock to the action and then a screw goes through the trigger guard into this fitting...................... hope this all makes sense, soooooo this is the part I am after so before I have to splash out nearly £50 for this and the secondary screw, I thought I would just ask if anyone has one in their drawer to sell me a bit less than new.
