No late night telly till ch4, you used too listen to the nat-anthem, sit and watch that bird on the test card or the white spot, then turn on the radio for weird extreme jazz. Then came the fourth tv channel.........wow :icon_eek: and later films.........OOoooo :blink:

Funny. That reminds me of this bloody clock we used to have. Had to put a tanner in it to keep it going. That was the Insurance money! Keep that f*cker ticking right and ye paid ye insurance from it when the man came round.

 

And I wouldn't know about hiring a video (player), but my old dear used to hire a f*ckin Washing Machine! :icon_eek:

A lass i work with got some old Goodies / sweets / spice call them what you will.

 

Remember Anglo Bubble Gum ?, 4 minutes of a plastic taste and then nothing but jaw ache, feckin shite. :thumbdown:

 

Remember Spanish ?, tastes like an old girls minge covered in Fanny batter, feckin shite. :thumbdown:

 

Remember them old Mushrooms covered in coconut ?, feckin great, just like they used to be :victory:

 

Remember Rum & Butter toffees :notworthy: , absolutely feckin brilliant.

 

Remember Pineapple chunks / Cola Cubes ? alright until they stick your feckin teeth together :cry:

 

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the good old days 8)
