AA S400 not cocking all the way back

Recommended Posts

My AA S400 air rifle doesn’t seem to be cocking back all the way and im not sure why?

I recently bought the gun and its my first air rifle I’ve owned for myself and this problem is just kinda annoying haha.

Ive added a photo of me pulling the metal pin back to try cock the gun but it doesn’t go back all the way and seems to just get stuck at that point. This had happened a few times and sometimes it will just cock back as normal but a few shots later it will go back to being stuck.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Should the "mods" move this into the air rifle section and the lad may get some advice?

My advice, on limited experience, bolt action multi shot pneumatic air rifles,  bolt operation performs 3 actions, revolving the magazine, chambering the pellet, and cocking the action. Some revolve the mag and chamber the round, but the rifle has not been fully cocked and able to fire if the bolt has not been pulled fully back. Then you end up with 2 chambered pellets when you work the bolt again.  Done that. Or it might just be fecked.

Did you get second hand from a retailer or private seller if from a shop you could contact the shop if from a private seller it's up to you or take it to a GUNSHOP if you still haven't sorted it out it could be the resiver I think a normal spring air rifle would suitable these PCPs can be good but a bloody nightmare
