Went out with a mate for a walk around some of his permission last night & he took two nice big dog foxes. It's only a smallholding which borders a council estate & flood lit football pitches on one side & a main road the other, so shots aren't always easy to take.

The second one was turning white

They were in far better condition than the manky one taken a couple of weeks ago on another farm which is in a far more rural location.

What a good do  . That top fox looks like a feckin' fat corgi. Has anyone else noticed that there seems to be a lot of movement concerning foxes at this time of year. A keeper local to me has had four in a week, three in the snare and one with the rifle. And I found one this morning still twitching in the snare, on a spot I go on. :icon_eek: A snare was set after this one was shot at (I think), a few nights ago and made for the bit of cover he was found in this morning. ;) Them foxes look well Cupid.

They are all chasing one another round at the moment & making a din in the road at night.
