Bangersanmash 2,378
Well I've sorted all the birds out for the coming season. Time to condition them up. Few weeks before breeding a will put them in flights cocks and hens separated. Gives them a few weeks away from each other. This gets the cock birds worked up that drive to bond. " Because the cock birds can hear the hens calling same with the hens hearing the cock birds. Just gets them worked up more. Because they've been with each other all winter. This image was taken yesterday of one of the pairs I'm using this coming season. Nice flashy pied cock bird that's got the Eagle head genetics. His father was an Eagle head mother a classic looking hen but carrier for white like him. The hen I'm using her parents were. A white hen to classic looking pied similar to her. But she will throw white birds.
