switcher33 0
Hi every one, new to this site, Just a question for you Got a new ferret there, 6 months old, brought him out there the other day for first time and tried him in a warren of around 10 holes or so, rabbits bolted but not with great urgency, i.e they just came out and looked around and sometimes went back in, then a rabbit got caught in the purse net and ferret came out beside it but didnt show any intrest in the rabbit, he obviously dont know what hes at, so how long does it take for them to get going? or could it be down to bad breeding?and another question is there much of a diffrence between 'bad' ferrets and 'good' ones? Kay 3,709
Well give the thing a chance, its got to be pretty bewlidering going underground for the first time, lots of sensory overload , smells etc to take in, Quote Link to post
Guest Bigbob
You dont have a older ferret ? you could drop the two into a burrow till the youngster gets the idea Or do you have any mates that ferret and could double up with one of there ferrets for a bit Quote Link to post
