Guest little lurcher Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 1lb venison about 12 button mushrooms 1 red onion largeglass or 2 of red wine 1/2lb of small potato cubes 3 small carrots diced allow the venison to steep in the wine overnight, then top up the dish next morn with cold water , place in a pre heated oven gas mark 4 , covered with tin foil, allow to cook slowly for around 3 hours taking off the tin foil last half hour and add thickening to make a lovely juicy gravy mmmmmmmmmmmm ive made mine tonight so will enjoy tomorrow Quote Link to post Share on other sites
