So what line in your opinion produced the most successful coursers ? Pre ban obviously

 

I might aswell start learning now lol

 

Coursing under rules pre ban Banatay/Laguna/Terichline/Chyton/ but imo the best single coursing dogs pre ban were Whats Behind The Mask/Skylark Majestic/Ultra Vixen & Bellagosie they were all one litter out of Special Little Rat (Sooty Sam X Gorwynne Glisando) & by Banatay Bismarck who himself holds the breed record for producing winning coursing whippets.

 

After a stunning coursing career Whats behind the mask was retired due to a crippling injury but became one of the Top three coursing stud dogs.

 

His three litter sisters entered The National Whippet Coursing Hall Of Fame (After being top whippets for three consecutive seasons).

was very fortunate to see the said dogs run,laso to compete against them before this stupid fuc**ng ban was brought in.the best coursing whippets i have ever seen run,i dont think what they achieved will ever be done again,but that has alot to do with the man behind the dogs.mr tony dent has this uncanny nack of conditiong a dog for coursing and to keep it at the top.i have witnessed the said dogs course and catch many hares[pre ban]a true credit,to a genuine dog man.you are spot on jeff with what you have quoted. the finest.
