My new Springer

His name is Bailey he is 9mths old and came from NESSR. He will hopefully be my new gundog. I have never trained a gundog before so it will be a steep learning curve. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm in exactly the same boat here mate with my 18 week old Springer called Sam.

 

He comes from a LONG line of Field Trial Champions and Winners, so he should have good potential (well hopefully)

 

All I have done is buy 3 or 4 DVD's from e-bay which show training methods for gun dogs / Springers.

 

Perhapse we could start a DVD and Book exchange where we all swap books n DVD's along with tips and advice etc.

 

This way we all help each other out, as the cost of books and DVD's can easily run in to the £Hundreds, not to mention the cost of attending obedience classes.

 

Let me know if anyone is interested...also some of the DVD's I have come without copyright so I could even legaly duplicate them and pass on the copies here for the help of others.
