allgame 0
i dont no if anyone else has had this happen but it was a good night last night so i went for a quick shine i decieded to take out my new red lens for the first time any way iv never got so close to so many rabits befor and the thing was in the red light they wouldnt move for shit i let my dog go on a few easy ones and after about 12 runs and no rabbits but all near misses i new somthing was wrong the dog wasnt fit because of the heat but they were still easy ones anyway i figured out that just like the rabbits couldnt see the light ethier could my dog also once he was chasing the rabbit usally gets dazzeled by my lights but with the red lens the rabbit retains there sight and the dog misses out obnce i figured this out i started removing red lens just as i let the dog go got two striaght away it was a very interesting night called it an early one after to catches to keep the dogs confidence and thats all i wanted plus the dog was bugered but definatly could have caught more once i figured it out Quote Link to post
Guest WILF
I had the flip up lens and used to let the dog run down the red beam untill ontop of his quarry, then flip up the lens so he could run the critter in white light. Quote Link to post
