But, it is actually the first time I've ever personally witnessed it. My latest cock pheasant. Happened to glance out the window and there he is. Sat on a fukking fence post. I mean, I've seen them eight foot up. Nothing strange about that. But, sitting there, four foot off the ground, along a bare fence line? 'Different' I'd have tried for a photo.
