cubby 3
hi there, i have just returned to ferreting after a bit of a break (10 years give or take) i didnt realise it was so difficult to get permission. thought i would do the right thing and go ask farmers for permission, but i have had nothing but refusal after refusal i live near glasgow so the areas near to home are limited used to travel to places like crieff and kirrimuir with my grandad but as i say it has been a while since i have been so would imagine permission has run out and i probably would not be able find the ground at kirrimuir as i always slept on the way there and back. COMPO 54
Lots of advice been given on the below thread:- http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=38626 my advice is think outside the box and think small to start with, outside the box= plant nurseries, golf courses, livery yards, smallholdings, market gardens etc......usually they are a lot more receptive than the proper farmers and enough small bits add up!
