Iv'e been told (and I don't know where ) that antibiotics can affect the performance of a lurcher. Is this true??? Any insight will help thanks Quote Link to post
hairybull 3 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 Should be right- after the antibiotics has finished you may be best to feed some probiotics- Yoghurt is good- for a few days to get the gut bacteria back on track. Quote Link to post
parkstone 24 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 As Hairybull say you could do with giving you dog a couple of spoonfulls of Natural Yogart a couple of times a day afterbeibng on A/B's as they kill the good bacteria in the gut and the yogart restarts the good cultures. Any insight will help thanks Antibiotics wont affect the performance of your dog as much as it being killed by septicaemia caused by an unchecked infection. Quote Link to post
