Went to Weardale today with the missus in tow as she was intrested in all this ferretting malarky & wanted to see "her" 2 poleys working.The weather was dry,bright but a N/W breeze anyway arrived in the top quarry at 9,ish there was a lot of water in the bottom of it so we decided to work the top bank which is just a vast collection of holes all the way along it we netted as many as we could put the 2 ferts in after 45mins no sign of either of them so out with the magic box 4ft dig ahead just as we started they both came out very muddy & wet.We collected the nets & netted further along the bank put them in 1 rabbit in the net.Moved to the top field did a 7 holer nothing then did a 5 holer & got a 3/4 grown rabbit.The missus enjoyed the day out but was adament that she would,nt gut the poor little bunny rabbits....Aahh

Well done & the decent weather was a bonus cant say i blame your Mrs for not wanting gut the catch , its a pretty smelly task :sick:
