D_Metty 0 Posted August 18, 2019 Report Share Posted August 18, 2019 Hi, I am new to the forum I was advised to visit the site as someone may be able to offer some advice with an ongoing issue my beagle has. His eye started to swell almost 2 months ago, he was prescribed anti-inflammatories which didn’t touch it, I then asked the vet if we could try steroids, these started to reduce the swelling and then he scratched the area and popped the swelling. Since then it became infected he has had 2 different types of antibiotics, it is still bleeding (very small amount) and occasionally pus comes from it. The vets sedated him, cleaned it up and put hydrogel on it. But 2 months in, 3 trips to the vets and still no sign of healing... I would be really grateful for any advice offered.
