i have a polecat jill, i went out to the shed yestaday to see that she has lost hair on her chest and both front legs, she is one of this years and the only other time i have seen this is in a older ferret could someone give me advice thanks

 

 

if you can rule out parasites it could be hormonal hair loss, if your at all bothered by it or she isnt right generally take her to the vets :)

a frinnd said leaving the light on in the shed to long can mess with the ferrets hormouns is this true thanks

I am not sure to be honest, if they lived outside it would be normal for them to have no light from about 4.30 pm till 8am tomorrow morning, so save the electric & turm the light off if your not down there :laugh:
