philpot 4,928 Posted July 28, 2019 Report Share Posted July 28, 2019 Some years ago, I was given a picture which has always put a smile on my face but alas, I do not know most of the people portrayed in the picture. Now guys can any of you think who they might be. The picture is called 'The Fishing Beat', 'Nine complete anglers' painted by Jedd whose real name is John Edwards and from what I can glean, he died but I don't know when. Lets see how many can be identified. I think the first on the left is an old tv character, Mr Paistry. Third from the left, Bob Nudd. Sixth from the left, John Wilson. The last one under the brolly, Mr Crabtree. Now I may well be way off the beat here but those are my thoughts, what are yours. Phil Quote Link to post
