john b 38 Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 Zebedee Well done for bring the renewed licence to everyones attention Can I just add that the link is to one of the general licences, you can see the whole list here: http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/conservat...genlicences.htm The one Zebedee links to covers control for the purpose 'to prevent serious damage or disease' - most frequently pigeons and crows. The other key one is for the purpose 'to conserve wild birds' which is often the reason for control of magpies, jays and other corvids. The third one of any relevance relates to control for public safety They cover the same species, but you must be able to state the reason and the appropriate licence if challenged Quote Link to post
