removing sound from video clip?

If you use windows movie maker to edit the clip you can remove the sound :thumbs:

I have to do it with some of my videos :whistling: swearing, sooooo unladylike :icon_redface: Have to try and stop it for one of my new years resolutions :icon_redface::laugh:

thanks for the reply. i have tried that but the video file is an mp4 and the movie maker says it cannot import the file?

yeah sorry I forgot to say windows movie maker can be a bit of a bugger to work with, when I am using it to edit clips from my camcorder they are in MPEG and it wont upload them so I have to convert them to WMV format first, then you can use WMM and take the sound off, or put music on instead of sound whatever you prefer. There is probably an easier way of doing things but I have never worked with MP4 so you might have to wait til someone a bit more techy can answer your Q :thumbs:

Oh Sarah, you WILL get over windows movie maker, trust me :laugh: its obviously taking you a little longer than most. :laugh:
