Guest little_lloyd
Me and i mate went out some some permiison i have not been on this season,,, Its very alive with rabbits but the warrens are agmost the thickest hawthorn blackthorn/ bramble patch warrens and are very, very hard to net,, So we netted up what we could and used the long net alongside it. There was half a dozen rabbits sat out of the warren when we arived, so we entered, Thunder and Enda grebus the poley kills and two bolted withing minites and where well caught up in the nets,, Then they started bolting fro0m hole to hole and 4 or five must of done this,, So they layed up but on my side.,, the side of the hedge a nice clear spot,, So it took five mintiues to dig down and we had our third and final rabbit,,, Im very pleased how the ferrets worked today,, alough there was alot more rabbits,, we took what we could. The easier was to cath these rabbits would be with a lamp,, But a few lads on here will well you these run like they have soapy feet lol Anyway it was a day well spent and we sor so many rabbits today,, just was awlarkd to net so we lost a fair few. Rolfe 2
Well done lloydy.........but just a little tip. When you run out the long net..... keep the top and bottom runners TIGHT. This will stop the rabbits twisting the net over. Rolfey. Quote Link to post
