hi lads iv recently set my sights in with crossmam accupell im due for a new tin of pellets and i was thinking about getting crossman powa pells iv checked the are both the same weight and size 22 5.5 mm and 14.3 grains will it make a difference or will i have to sight the gun in again i think it will be ok as they are the same make weight and size what do you boys think? cheers ;)

Accupells are domed, Powapells are pointed, they fly differently, you would be very well advised to re check your zero!

Doubt you'll find any difference in terms of point of aim.

Like Air Arms Field / AA Tru Hunter, one is just the pointy version of the domed jobby.

A quid a can more for the pointy ones if that matters to ya. LOL

 

 

May not be much difference in some, but all guns, powers and twist rates effect the flight, so does the pellet shape. Mine is running at 26ft lb and AA Field and AA Hunter fly about 4 inches different at 40 yards zero! Dome arrives with more thump, pointed arrives with more penetration! You will also tend to find you get slightly tighter groups with domed!
