Paul in North Lincs 15 Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 he looks a crackin dog.................... triaining should be simple.....if he's got the instinct to chase...all you really need him to do is recall......heel..... retireve.........& jump...........all of which are very basic commands. My advice would be to go out with someone experienced.....keep hold of your dog...........soon the season will be over and you will have a full year to bring the pup on. You only get out what you put in mate Dot be fooled into thinking anyone is going to swap a good worker for a duff...... Far too many people want to lamp and hunt.......they dont knwo anything about it, buy a dog, use it for a month or two..sell it on when the nights draw out. Invariably its the dogs that suffer......................... Read books...ask questions.... learn the art....learn field craft, and become well rounded. If your interested enough...............non of these should cause you a problem If yuou cant be arsed...................................then really you should find another passtime Quote Link to post

Lennard 10 Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 (edited) It seems a different dog to me too...although I am not sure...the last pics could be pup pic of the first...with markings above the eyes and dark ears and streaks along the muzzle all there...the white pattern on the brest is quite different to me....
