If they do, net the whole bank, or at least put longnets between the sets in the bank. Regards Roger. PS Ferrets work better up hill. So start at the bottom of the bank and work your way to the top. andy s410c 63 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 If you have enough nets net the bank i have never used longnets but what i have read & seen on the forum they look very good providing they are set properly.On my ferreting ground we net up as many burrows as possible so by the time we are done the first set is ready for ferts to be put in.I may invest in a longnet(s) for next winter once i have picked peoples brains on how to use them effectively Quote Link to post

I agree with andy on that,also if any rabbits slip your nets or they bolt from a hole you can't see/net up they will probably get back netted down the bank Quote Link to post
