thurso jack 3 Posted December 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 i have got rid of the fuse aswell more trouble then good in my opinion i have wired my lamp straight to the battery no connections half was just straight to the battery i dont know weather its safe or not but i aint ever had any problems since touch wood, good luck hope you get it sorted i got rid of the fuse also and cut off the cigar connectors and wired in the two plugs shown in the pic before, but lately its started to melt and now wont stay in unless held, not too good when you go to take a bunny off the dog and it goes into darkness Quote Link to post
Ray Mears 272 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 ok this is how i do mine not sure if its safe or not but i aint to intrested in that crap anyway i got my lamp cut of that shitty cigar connector and stripped back the plastic coating a few inches so just the wire, no plastic then on my lamp battery there is to holes in the spade connecters poke the wire though them wrap it around secure it with tape or whatever jobs a good one no connections at all nothing melts on mine since either dont now how some other people do it but thats how i do mine dont no if it will help but all the best Quote Link to post
