Aussie Whip 4,376 Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 I got a 12 month old Russell bitch from denning line to assist two whippet lurchers ferreting.The problem I have is once ferrets are entered the terrier guards the warren to the extent of attacking both runners if they come within ten foot of holes,she lives with both dogs no problems.Any advice as is my first working terrier.Would it be better keeping her for den work only.Also guards holes etc when ratting.Cheers.
