false earths

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of putting some false earths down .anyone know what best lenghts would be best .

with the new laws on terrier work it's a good idea to make them so fox bolt as soon as the terrier is entered.

a simple y shape is ideal ,with two length's of nine inch land drain, the bendy yellow type, and at about ten foot in length.

make the chamber out off a 18" square patio slab on the bottom ,with sides made out of four concreat blocks and another

slab on top .

place on a south facing slope, and put a load of sand in the chamber.

the y shape will make sure a fox bolts from one tube as the terrier enters the other, and a easy shot can be made.

all in the name of game bird protection.
