lone wolf 0
im looking to buy an fac rated air rifle, the one that i have seen that takes my fancy at the moment is in .25 calibre.i have owned many air rifles but have never normally strayed from .177 or .22,so how does a .25 rate with you and are the pellets easily available.regards lone wolf Quote Link to post

A 12ft lb .25 is a superb ratting gun but thats about it! If you want something with more power that hits harder just get a .22 rimmy and use shorts/long/shotshells/or subs (will give you about 30ft lb upwards). This will give you a lot of scope, be far more consistant than a .25air rifle and of course cost a hell of a lot less! Quote Link to post
