ok i bet there is a lot on here who own the new mark 3 ferret locater.

 

but did you find the mark 1 not so good ?iff you had one ?

 

ive seen the newtype and to be honest i cant stand the noise ,that comes with it .

 

wel im looking for a mk 1 15 ft collar, so i can take my boy out and not make

a tit of myselfe,,,i cant use the new ones ,and dont whant to learn to

 

anyway iff anyone on here would like to sell me thier old mk1 collar can you get in touch with me please.

they going for about 40 quid on ebay but you can get a mk3 collar to use with mk1 box but it only locates to 11 foot with a 15 foot box. blackdogtrading.co.uk or .com is doing a cracking deal on the 40 foot set terriermad

Have you got a mk3 set?,if you have the collar and it is not the long range one,then it will work with a mk1 box.It does not work the other way round though (mk1 collar mk3 box)

You can turn the sound off when using the Mk3 and just use the led lights or as I do turn the sound right down low. They are loud and sqwauky otherwise, but excellent used this way.
