ghostlyease 17 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 the d200 is what she wants next so she can take black and whites . more bloody money i have to shell out no doubt Ive just got a Nikon D50, got the standard lens and a 55 - 200, after doing some research it would seem that some photographers prefer to take pics in colour and turn them black and white or sepia with a computer programme, something to do with contrast effects... Im very, very new at this, only had my lenses a few days, but do the research I suppose, these cameras are lots of money, lol... The first pic I took with mine..... Not quite wildlife. doxhope 2 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 I was just at a photography competition on Thursday night, this was for digital photography only, the pictures in the black and white section where all photos that had been originally taken in colour, then changed to black and white in a photoshop, a lot of them were quite stunning I must admit.
