That's a briefing paper by the IUCN to the EU on the effects of trophy hunting and proposed trophy importation bans. Something probably backed by the majority of the public and sadly the majority of British sportsmen, either directly or by apathy.

 

I'm sick of seeing how policy on all levels is more often than not driven by emotion and populism than by cold hard evidence based science. It's undemocratic, unproductive and plays into the hands of the political classes.

 

This thread is my small effort to change that....
