matt1979 766
Went out earlier for a few hours over my uncles farm not much about to be honest bit the dogs put a shift in and enjoyed it. Still very wet on the ground and heavy going, pushed a few pheasant out and the terrier pushed a rabbit out for my lurcher pup, which ended with a close your eyes and hope for the best run through a thick wooded area, heard a thud at one point and feared the worst but he returned shortly after with just a little scrape. He seems to either have the luck of the Irish or an uncanny nack of avoiding another to hard, either way long may it continue. Gained this fella for today's session one of my uncles young collie pups which after a quick fuss at the farm yard, decided she fancied joining in the action and spent 3hours trotting with the pack. Might be a useful addition if she takes to it, lovely little collie and most obedient member lol atb Edited January 17, 2016 by matt1979 4 Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Lovely looking dog, did she understand what the other dogs were doing? She was more interested in the other dogs to honest. Flushed a rabbit back end of the walk and she the joined in the action, after that she was showing much more interest in the rabbits holes along the hedge line. Not a huge collie fan but she won me over soft as a brush and nice shape to her atb Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
If I lived closer to my uncles place I would have her out all the time but it's a bit of a trek to the farm so have to just borrow her when over there. Both the collies just mooch about the farm so it's pot luck whether they are around when we set off for a wander atb Edited January 18, 2016 by matt1979 Quote Link to post
