yes i think i did put the sprite thing on before? does make a difference doesnt it? i had a venison chow mein! pan fry it slowly in thin slivers with calfs/lams liver too with red onions and sugar and butter , a few small cherry toms also thrown in towards end of cooking and broccoli , see what you think of that

other than that pan fried with homemade chips , cant beat it!!! oh and a good old double yokee on top of the chips!!! mmmmmmmmmmm

yeah, the sprite does work(apparently its the co2 that makes it tender?)) oh,the steak in mushroom sauce was nice! a can of campbells mushroom soup,10 fl oz of milk, simmer in a pan wi sliced mushrooms. fry steak in butter and garlic and put in the sauce to finish! lovely. :drink:

getting bored of venison roast, stew and steak! lol, anyone got any different ideas on what to do with it? i love it but you know how it is....too much of a good thing!lol

Try using Patak's curry paste - preferably balti flavour for a really good curry dish. Also when pan frying venison steaks add a glug of sherry to the pan juices. Scrape the bottom of the pan, reduce a little, then pour over steaks.
