Ecotone 2
Hi all, I have no dog at present and want to change that. Now like most I work and would be gone for a large part of the day leaving the dog/dogs on its/their own. Would it be better to get two pups instead of one so they would have company? I would not be getting two litter mates and would be getting two different breeds. I am aware that it is easier to train one pup on its own but I'm just looking for some input from those that may have experience in the area.. Thanks Quote Link to post
deck 35
personally mate id get one, two pups to train would be a lot of work, couldn't you get some one to see to the pup for you during the day for some interaction, play socialising etc if not you got to question weather you should be getting a pup. Casso 1,261
One at a time is good fishing as my old man would say , every pup is an open book to form how we want it to be and that includes getting used to been on its own, Once it's secure, warm and gets out to express its canine inclinations once in a while there is no issue , anything else is how humans perceive things not how the pup see it , 1 Quote Link to post
