Malt 379
We used to get one in my nan's garden, eyeing up my grandad's budgies. It used to sit on the greenhouse, about 15 metres from the house. Cracking birds.
Nell 1
It does look like a Musket/male sparrow hawk.. they are my favourite bird closly followed by the gos's ..The flight's you see when they are in hot persuit of prey is breath taking .. .. and as long as no clown shoot's it you will probebly see it pretty regular around that area if the yis a good food supply.. Millet Millet I saw a recent TV programme (The Life Of Birds or something) and it showed a whole load of wild BOP flying/huntng etc, including the Sparrowhawk in slow motion through some dense woods, it really was breathtaking, some of the gaps in the branches it was flying through were just unbelievable. You would have enjoyed that!!
